Hish is born

As a ten-year-old, I enjoyed expressing my creativity through writing short stories. I lived on a farm on Lookout Mountain, Georgia, and we had a pond that was usually full of frogs and tadpoles. Since Christmas was coming up and my obsession with tadpoles was at an all-time high, I wrote Hish as a gift for my dad. Needless to say, he loved it and found the messages to be surprisingly deep for a kid who had just entered the double digits. For seven years, the story of Hish would be a family treasure until, in the summer of 2022, I decided to make it into a children's book. After some polishing and patient help from my illustrator, Hish, the children's book, was born. It's amazing to have this project out in the world at last, and I sincerely hope you enjoy it!
